On October 14, 2016 the Royal Canadian Legion, Eastview Branch 462 that I belong to hosted their member Veterans to a roast beef luncheon.
I was happy to accept the invitation for myself and Wendy and met up with friends David and Janice. The guest speaker was the Area Commander who spoke on the change demographics of the Legion and how they are adapting to accepting all ex-serving members of the Armed Forces as Veterans.
