What with GAGGLES, OldFARTS, Lime Days, dragged off shopping, Sunday get to-gethers, working in the garden and other minor little tasks time just seems to slip away.
What really kicked me in the rear today was an e-mail from the Great Gower Run which had quite a few photos of the event.
So while I don't have much more to add today - except that it is snowing bbrrrr and I am not liking that very much I will just post the family photos from that email.
From the e-mail
The first annual Great Gower Run was a HUGE success!
On Saturday, October 1st more than 400 walkers, runners and volunteers participated in North Gower’s first community run – and together raised more than $8,700. Those funds will be used to develop youth activities and programs in our region – and support CHEO’s youth mental health initiative.
The Great Gower Run was made possible thanks to the incredible generosity of our community. The organizing committee would like to thank all of the participating families, our amazing sponsors and volunteers including Pierre Polivre, Lisa MacLeod, Scott Moffatt, North Gower Firefighters, Algonquin College Paramedic Students, ORMHA Hockey Teams, and Community Members.
