Clocks went back an hour last night so was up an hour earlier this morning. Well at least it was an hour earlier on clock. Went for a nice pleasant run (3K) and a cool down walk before breakfast.
After a nice leisurely breakfast and doing the puzzles in the newspaper, my usual “work” stuff I decided to take down the Halloween lights, which had to be done, and put up some Christmas lights which also needed to be done. May as well get the lights up before the snow flies and the temperature drops below freezing. While it was bright and sunny it was still pretty chilly out there hanging the lights. I did manage to get quite a few up but hopefully will have a chance to do some more later. I will have to get another power bar, one of those special outdoor ones, if I do put up more lights.
Don and the family are coming over for supper and last night we decided to have the ham that has been in the freezer for a little while. Wendy is baking it along with scalloped potatoes. Don is going to be bringing carrots, apparently they have lots, don’t know if they will be cooked or still raw.
They brought them raw so Wendy cooked them up.
